Vegan Caramelized Banana and Rum Shake



Enjoy this vegan shake with caramelized banana and rum. It's rich and creamy. It's a tasty treat made with vegan ice cream and caramelized bananas that have a hint of rum.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rum vegan-friendly
  • 2 cups almond milk or your preferred plant-based milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup vegan vanilla ice cream
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Vegan whipped cream optional, for garnish
  • Sliced bananas optional, for garnish
  • Caramel sauce vegan optional, for drizzling
  • Toasted coconut flakes optional, for garnish

Instructions:

Cut the bananas into rounds after peeling them

Over medium-high heat, melt the brown sugar in a nonstick skillet

The sugar will start to sugar and caramelize

Next, add the banana slices

Cook for two to three minutes on each side, until the banana slices turn golden and caramelized

Take the pan off the heat and add the rum slowly

Be careful, because it could catch fire

After the flame goes out, put the skillet back on low heat and simmer for another two to three minutes to thicken the sauce

Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit

Put the bananas that have been caramelized, almond milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and vegan vanilla ice cream in a blender

You can add ice cubes to make it thicker if you want to

Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy

If you need to, add more ice cream or almond milk to make it sweeter or thinner

Put the shake into glasses

If you want, you can add vegan whipped cream, banana slices, caramel sauce, and toasted coconut flakes on top

Serve your vegan caramelized banana and rum shake right away and enjoy it!
