Fluffernutter Cookies combine the classic flavors of peanut butter and marshmallow to create a delectable treat suitable for any occasion. These soft and chewy cookies with a gooey marshmallow center will please both children and adults.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet

Mix the peanut butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a bowl until the mixture is smooth

Mix the egg and vanilla extract into the peanut butter mixture until everything is well mixed together

Mix the baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour together in a different bowl

Mix the dry ingredients into the peanut butter mixture little by little until a dough forms

Cut the dough into tablespoon-sized pieces and roll them into balls

Cover the baking sheet with foil and put them on it

Make a hole in the middle of each cookie dough ball with your thumb or the back of a spoon

Put it in an oven that is already hot for about 8 minutes

Take the cookies out of the oven and, if necessary, gently press down on the holes to make them round again

Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way

After the cookies have cooled all the way down, put a little marshmallow fluff in the middle of each hole

If you want to add more flavor and texture, you can lightly brown the marshmallow fluff with a kitchen torch

Before you serve, let the marshmallow fluff set for a few minutes

Have fun with your tasty Fluffernutter Cookies!
